The final international lantern-drawing event of the Snake-Year lantern festival has come to an end successfully. While attending the event in an antique and historic house of Shennong Street, participants used their color pens to decorate lanterns with creative ideas inspired by their diverse cultures. We are sincerely thankful to every international friend who joined us. These lantern-drawing moments were always full of laughter and creativity. The event was not only loved by our international guests but also cherished by young kids and their parents. Every lantern on site displayed the creator’s boundless imagination and brought joyful surprises, leaving people amazed.
Even though the last international lantern-drawing event of the Snake-Year lantern festival has concluded smoothly, don’t feel discouraged! People who like the event can feel relieved because we have good news for you!! Starting in April, we will host one international lantern-drawing event every month. Everyone is welcome to experience the joy of lantern drawing, and create their own unique lanterns.
In order to extend the influence of the lantern festival, the “2025 International Lantern Drawing” will be transformed into a regular monthly event. The “2025 Lantern Painting at a Historic House from the Suburban Business Era of the Ching Dynasty” will be launched officially. This initiative makes the international promotion of Five-Channel suburban culture become a regular part of daily life on Shennong Street, no longer only limited to the Lantern Festival period.
This will be a rare and unforgettable lantern-drawing experience. Instead of being just be a spectator, you will become an active participant in the creative process. In the heart of Tainan’s culture, you’ll be immersed in the distinctive atmosphere of the historic houses on Shennong Street. Additionally, your will personally draw your own lanterns and experience the warmth and joy of Tainan.
Come and join our event—decorate your lantern with your creativity and wishes! Suggested price: NTD 150, with a special offer of buy-one-get-one-free. It’s a rare opportunity, so DO NOT miss it!
